Thoroughly deserved win. As others have said really should have been 3 or 4.

The farmer’s are absolutely dreadful, but second half especially, we played some really nice stuff.

The execution & final ball in the final third is still abysmal though.

Pass marks to all. Back 4 solid. Midfield creative. Up front kept them on their toes (Bojan should have had a hat trick though).

Gartenmann definitely benefits having MacDonald next to him to do the dirty work & physical stuff. Been much better recently.

Similarly Polvara in the middle has benefited greatly from the change to try and play some actual fitba on the deck.

It really has emphasised & highlighted just how ridiculous & stupid Robson’s tactics were - absolutely non sensical.

Still, I hope the board aren’t lulled into any false sense of security about this squad. Its still got massive deficiencies all over the place.

Pace, physicality (esp midfield), width, & goalie for starters.

The League table doesn’t lie. They need to remember that.

But fair play, that’s us officially safe now - which I wouldn’t have bet on just a few weeks back, so credit to all for sorting the mess out to that extent.

Lot’s of work to do though. Big summer for Thelin ahead…

It hasn’t been a great season but it’s no where near been the worst season we have had in the last 20-30 years.

The biggest problem we have had this year is that we have struggled to break down teams who sit with ten men behind the ball.

Jimmy Thelin is going to have to work out a way to break down teams who sit back against us next season. If he can do that then he will have something to build on for the next few years.
