    Retained lists EOS 23/24…

    Northampton Town Football Club have announced the following retained list at the end of the 2023/24 season.

    PLAYERS UNDER CONTRACT
    Patrick Brough, James Dadge**, Max Dyche, Jon Guthrie, Will Hondermarck, Sam Hoskins, Ali Koiki, Harvey Lintott, Tyler Magloire, Aaron McGowan, Manny Monthe, Akin Odimayo*, Mitch Pinnock, Jack Sowerby, Josh Tomlinson,Reuben Wyatt***

    *The club have triggered an option in Akin Odimayo’s existing contract
    ** James Dadge has signed a new professional contract.
    *** The club have triggered a third year scholarship for midfielder Reuben Wyatt, the LFE League One Apprentice of the Season, which will see Reuben join the first team squad next season.


    PLAYERS OFFERED NEW CONTRACTS
    Louis Appere, Lee Burge, Ben Fox, Shaun McWilliams, Sam Sherring, Jordan Willis

    PLAYERS RELEASED
    Peter Abimbola, Dominic Gape, Ryan Haynes, Danny Hylton, Liam Moore

    Shrewsbury Town can today confirm the list of retained and released players following the conclusion of the 2023/24 season.

    Salop will begin next year with the following players under contract: Morgan Feeney, Jason Sraha, George Nurse, Carl Winchester, Taylor Perry, Jordan Shipley, Roland Idowu, Tom Bloxham and Max Mata.

    We will be looking to retain: Marko Marosi, Mal Benning, Aaron Pierre, Chey Dunkley and Dan Udoh.

    The following players will not be with the club next season: Harry Burgoyne, Tom Flanagan, Tunmise Sobowale, Elliott Bennett, Tom Bayliss, Rayhaan Tulloch, Aiden O’Brien and Ryan Bowman.

    Jack Price has been offered the chance to train with the squad during pre-season to work on his fitness with the aim of earning a new deal.

    Loanees Joe Anderson, Jack Hinchy and Nohan Kenneh will be returning to their parent clubs. The club would like to thank all three players for the role they played in helping us retain our League One status.

    Carlisle United Football Club can confirm the retained/released list as below:

    Players already contracted for the 2024/25 season: Jack Armer, Luke Armstrong, Ben Barclay, Gabe Breeze, Dan Butterworth, Taylor Charters, Jack Ellis, Callum Guy, Jayden Harris, Georgie Kelly, Sam Lavelle, Harry Lewis, Alfie McCalmont, Dylan McGeouch, Jon Mellish, Harrison Neal, Jack Robinson and Josh Vela.

    Players offered new deals: Anton Dudik.

    Second-year youth players who have been offered a third-year scholarship: Jake Allan, Josh O’Brien, Aran Fitzpatrick and Sam Hetherington.

    Players released: Josh Emmanuel, Jordan Gibson, Tomas Holy, Paul Huntington, Max Kilsby, Sean Maguire, Kai Nugent and Corey Whelan.

    Loan players returning to their parent club: Terry Ablade, Jokull Andresson, Fin Back, Jack Diamond and Josh Kayode.

    The club would like to thank all players who have represented us this season.

    Shrewsbury Town manager Paul Hurst has said, he expects 30 year old goalkeeper Marko Marosi to be playing else
    where in the coming season, even though the club has a option on his contract.
    The goalkeeper has had some good reports this season, winning end of season awards.

    I would hope we can do better than Shrewsbury, Carlisle & Northamptons cast offs.
