Spent 15 years in Bacup in my younger days.
1st local was the Flowers until Barnsley Bob Gant bared me. I then moved south down to the Wellington, followed by Mannings Snookers. Moved west when Stannard opened Horaces

We may have crossed paths then, i went in the Welly a lot and the Flowers less so but also frequented Horaces though to no avail. I actually met my wife in the new Inn after years of cruising night clubs in Burnley, Blackburn, Nelson, Rochdale and Heywood.

Don't know if it was before your time Mr B, but I was in the Flowers most Friday nights around 1980-1985.
