    End of season meet

it's been tried before by BT and almost happened until ASLEF kyboshed it so how about another attempt? I've just met with Sir Outwood and we're both up for it. Manchester has been suggested as the most viable location as it's easy to get to from most places. We could also take in the football museum to add a bit of interest before lunch and a few drinks of choice (mine would be a bit of real ale, I never got a taste for that imaginary stuff). So, the question is who is interested and when?

I hadn't thought of the day army, as I'm retired any day suits me but we could start with a Friday and see what others think. I'm off to France shortly and won't be back til the 6th June so anytime after that will be best for me.

I have my op in a couple of weeks, if I'm fit enough to travel I'll be there.
