    Chelsea

    Finding form worries me..

We need to be the masters of our own results and not rely on others being crap..

Be class if Man U finished 8th though

Aye they are having a run of matches. However, Like Spurs to us. We have the points lead. It's in our hands. We've got 3 winnable matches to round out the season.

West Ham are 2-0 down at the bridge, they look like they are on the beach already. I feel a bit sad for David 'Yoda' Moyes, his players aren't fighting for him. Sad really considering he's the first manager to bring Silverware to the club for more than a decade.

    Their board directors are Ashley-esque!

    Right and proper my A$$!

I suggested ages ago that Chelsea would finish above us-partly because of the run we were on at the time, partly because, for the players they have, they were in a false position.

With our respective squads, finishing above them would be yet more evidence of the incredible job Eddie Howe and his staff have done; ditto finishing above Man U.

It's in our own hands and would even surpass last season in terms of an achievement given the almost generational run of injuries we've had.

Couldn't agree with you more Zips. On paper they should be title challenging. With Poch as manager, who split opinion from the 'he's elite manager' camp and the 'what has he ever won/bottled the league at Spurs' camp.

Regardless he's not daft. I always go back to that Eddie Howe comment "When things are going well, it's not as good as all the people say it is, when things are going bad, things aren't as disastrous as people say they are.'

Eddie Howe is an exceptional professional with an incredible mentality.

The MSM media are nothing but disrespectful and dismissive of him as our manager and what he can achieve in his career as a club manager. You'd think he was as useless as Pardew and his ilk.

Yet, in the same breath, the same clueless biased muppets recon Howe would ditch NUFC in a heartbeat to replace the Chinless clown managing England despite Eddie repeatedly saying international management is not engaging enough day-to-day for someone who is such a work-a-holic as him.

The mental gymnastics these clowns perform week in week out in front of the camera is laughable. It's embarrassing however, as they are a bunch of greedy washed up hasbeens they need to placate their fragile egos.

Keep it up lads is all I'll say. The more they hate us the sweeter it's gonna be when we start to win things and slowly grind our way to joining City as a dominant force in the Prem & Europe.

Look at the cost to assemble the current team squads

To think we’re currently fighting off the top 2 there, and after the head start they’ve had over us… we were a championship team a few short years ago, and until the takeover, had a championship level manager too. We still have players here from our football league exploits, these guys.

We’ve spent half of these guys to try catch up… they’ve spent double to go backwards

    1. Manchester United – £992million
    2. Chelsea – £978million
    3. Manchester City – £899million
    4. Tottenham – £728million
    5. Arsenal – £720million
    6. Liverpool – £664million
    7. Newcastle United – £565million
    8. West Ham United – £428million
    9. Aston Villa – £416million
    10. Everton – £360million

    Nice post Brushmon!

Goes to show that money doesn't by success. We've got some of the worlds best business people moved into our board room. They've brought in Eales, who is at the top of his game, Silverstone from Arsenal again a top top level appointment.

We'll secure an equally excellent replacement to the snaky fraud C-Ashworth and keep on pushing the establishment to the very limit.

Every time they spend big and fail damages them. Long may it continue!

If we better the results of Chelsea and Man u then we finish 6th and potentially 5th (massive long shot).
