40+ years since BFTBS. Seems like yesterday.

It was only when Emlyn became our manager that I realised that Yozzer was a common nickname in Liverpool for Hughes (Yuze)

Thinking about Bernard Hill tonight as he popped up on my phone earlier. Does anyone recall him in 'Shirley Valentine'?

You think of the big TV programmes like BFTBS and then Théoden, King of Rohan, in The Lord of the Rings but sentimental films like SV showed a different side to his acting abilities. Long remembered Bernard by many and thank you, RIP.
