    Kasper's your man

Denmark manager Kasper Hjulmand now 11/8 joint favourite with Sky. Now it all makes sense, the Yanks weren't waiting for Fat Frank when they appointed Bellamy and Jackson as babysitters, they were waiting for Kasper. Kept that one quiet didn't they ?

Never heard of the fella, but looks a possibility. Good age at 52 and obviously no duck egg or he wouldn't be managing the national side.

If Denmark get knocked out today. I am sure by sometime Monday, we will know if there is any truth in this

I'm having a Danish pastry for breakfast and looking forward to collecting my winnings.

You know very well who he is 😉

Within 15 minutes of him doing the old "I was told his name ages ago but didn't mention it" routine, a few of his chums put a fiver on at the bookies, and all of a sudden he was the favourite, similar to when Boden and his mates said OGS had had a second interview, he suddenly appeared in the betting. It's the only way the odds change in this particular book, is when money is put on somebody, the bookies have no other way of determining the odds, no previous form from previous games or races etc
He may well get the job, who knows, but the only reason he is currently the bookies favourite is because of a comment on a football message board

I couldn't care less about the odds, I know how bookies work, I used to be one, nor do I care what Scholes says, this guy just fits. It makes sense, the only reason I could see for them appointing interims was that they were waiting for someone to become available, most likely after the Euros and Frank Lampard seemed the obvious one. When it turned out not to be Lampard and there was a name out there that hadn't been mentioned, then just who was it ? Kasper fits just like the missing piece in a jigsaw, if it's him, everything makes sense.

But of course, it might not be.

Congrats mon ami, if you don't mind me asking how much did you have on , with who, at what price, and did you have any difficulty getting on, did they knock back part of your bet for instance ? I only ask because it's notoriously difficult to get any serious money on these markets and I'm intrigued, they're such a bookies benefit that I never even think of having a bet on them, the gee-gees are hard enough.

One last question, will it be pints all round in Manchester ?
