    FA Cup 2024-25

Missed the preliminary and first qualifying rounds due to my jaunts in the UK so from a MMad perspective this season's competition and team to follow starts at the 2nd round of qualification. It looks like most of the local teams have bitten the dust in those earlier rounds so as a starting point I've selected Scarborough Athletic who will visit Dunston on Saturday September 14th. The Seadogs play in a kit not too different to ours, are currently managed by Jonathan Greening and have Alex Wiles playing for them (Ben's brother?).

Thanks for the updates Lol. Coincidentally, Rylands were the team we were following at this same stage last year but let's hope Scarborough can keep the curse at bay and their run alive.

Well at least our FA Cup team to follow is giving us something to cheer about as Scarborough Athletic won 2-0 at Warrington Rylands and are in the hat for the 4th Qualifying Round draw tomorrow. One more win and they'll be in the first round proper.
