The best 5 players you have watched live at Oakwell

I was out for a walk this morning and I started to think about the best 5 players I have ever watched grace the Oakwell turf whilst I have been there in attendance and to be honest there are cart loads but I have come up with my initial five :
    1--- Ronnie Glavin
    2--- George Best
    3---Bobby Charlton
    4---David Ginolla
    5---Dennis Bergkamp

I would be very interested to see who others have seen over the years and who they are .

Intersted Ethel in who your top 5 might be from opposition teams who have visited us over the years , I know there have been so many over the years but I think the four I listed might go down as world class, but there will be plenty I have over looked , any thoughts ?

I think youve selected well Shads I might include Paul Scholes, or most of the Liverpool team we played in the league cup when they were European Cup winners. Hanson was a rolls royce of a footballer I thought.

Zola, Terry, Denis Law, Henry, Giggs perhaps

Great selection Animal but when did Hoddle play against us at Oakwell ? I am scratching my head , I think he had retired before we played in the premier league and I cannot remember Spurs coming in the cup before 1998 but Chelsea did in the eighties , was he in that side ?

To throw another name in there that IÂ’ve not seen mentioned yet as an individual performance at Oakwell: Robert Prosinecki. I was only young at the time (maybe about 10 ish) but IÂ’ll always remember that performance. Made us look silly.

Played for Swindon Town against us as player manager in 1993 , played as a sweeper at the back .

He was majestic , pinging the ball 50 yards straight to feet all afternoon , never gave the ball away once .
