    Evans meetings with Stewart

Steve Evans is not going to expose everything they discussed which is understandable, and apparently, one call was over an hour long. You can bet he's probably been given a direct ultimatum to get things moving or the inevitable will happen.

He goes on to say the players and he didn't like the reception they got at full time at Barnsley, while heading to the tunnel.

To a certain point he agreed. ''I couldn't say that if I was one of the supporters I would have acted any differently''

He says he still believes he can lead us out of League 1 this season. So do I, but we may not mean the same thing. Can you imagine if, by some monumental fluke, this shower found itself in the Chsmpionship? Carnage

Wow, Tony Stewart must be so out of touch with our fan base.

Apart from Alan Stubbs I can?t recall such a negative reaction from our fanbase towards a manager since the mid 90s.

I think TS is correct to lay down the law and to also back Evans at this time, I also think the club is correct to expect the players to sacrifice some of their time off to focus on training and improving both the performances and results. I hope the senior players come forward to support that decision and explained to the younger ones why being seen to be more committed will build the relationship with the fans.
My thoughts are, I do not think Evans has built up a backroom team that is capable of addressing the issues. the same can be said about the executive management that TS has in place. perhaps that is why they get on, the fact that neither of them are capable of seeing the real issues.
We still seem to have issues at the club around injuries, that doesn't seem to have improved much since last year. Our coaching and ability to get messages across to the players is very poor (Evans himself said the players are not taking the messages onboard), our recruitment and contract management also seems to be below the levels that are needed. All of those issues have been issues for a while now and i am not sure that a manager swap would resolve them all, but we have to address those issues.

Okay, they didn’t like the fans’ reactions. So, there’s one quick way to address that…..

He'll not sack him because nobody else would come to this club,so as long as TS is here,we will have SE.

Don't underestimate Stewart. He's ruthless. He didn't warn 200 million being soft
