Do the stats tell a story

TSB podcast had Jonny Cooper from Opta.

This season Leeds concede the fewest shots on target (and the least ever in any season). We concede on average 2 less shots than the next best club in Championship. We are also currently the best in terms of average number of shots per game (and the 4th best ever in the Championship).

Meslier is down in 19th for shots saved and his expected goals conceded from shots on target stat is appalling.

Shows that the Farke system is designed to work those two stats.

Finally, no team in the championship shop has failed to be promoted when they had 53 points at this stage of the season - sure we can break that stat 😎

Kind of surprised the stats on our keeper aren't worse.

Just curious as who is lower? 5 worse than he is?

    These stats tell a story.
Whoever goes up ,it's going to be hard work.
The three teams promoted last season
have played a combined 66 Prem games and managed just 7 wins.
Just shows how massive is the gulf between the divisions..🤔

"Lies, damned lies and statistics". Slice and dice however an how often you like, actuality is all that counts, real life performance is what matters.

Hmmmmn - sometimes the stats do illuminate what?s going on especially when they tally with each other and what is playing out before our eyes.
