    Prediction League, Final League Table

Apologies again for having to leave this so late, I've just put up the number of points scored over the last three games, which sees congratulations to Swiss as the 24/25 Champion, three points clear of Tap who came with a cracking late run into second, Sammy who was in contention all season finished third.

The much coveted first prize of a Pie and a Pint for the winner will be waiting in the bar at Clitheroe's first home game of next season.

Final League Table after 46 games.

    1) Swiss 2,2,1..........78
    2) Tap 4,2,4.............75
    3) Sammy 1,2,1.......71
    4) Barrie 1,1,1 .........70
    4) Mr B 4,2,1............70
    6) Army 2,2,1...........68
    7) Mal 0,2................66
    7) Griff 1,1...............66
    9) Sinkov 1,2,2.........65
    10) Balan 2,2,1.........61
    10) Warmy 4,2,4.......61
    12) BT 2,2,1.............60
    13) Chris 4,1,1.........58
    14) Outwood 1,1,1....53
    15) Matelot 2.2.2......52
    16) Chalky 1,2,2.......50
    17) Dave 2,1............44
    18) Alfie 0,0,0..........39
    19) CiB 1,2,2............36

Quite happy to be relegated Sinkov.Stuff the VAR.
All my doom and gloom predictions propelled the club to the PL.

No relegation from this league CiB, you'll have to suffer the VAR muppets along with the rest of us.

Congrats Swiss though I suspect you'll have to devise a new tactic for next season, perhaps a reverse of this season's predictions.

Many thanks to Sinkov for all the hard work. It is good fun, albeit I take no kudos for coming top - I got lucky with predicting a clean sheet every week!

Here’s to 2025/26. I intend to be optimistic in my predictions so I doubt that I will be retaining the title, sadly.

    Cheers to all.

I have no immediate plans to be in the area, but a pie and a pint are certainly a good incentive to visit the area again!

Cheers Chris. I intend to stick with the same tactic in the knowledge that I could be swapping places with CiB next season.

It may or may not be of interest that considering how many games Burnley won (28) and how few goals they conceded (16) that simply predicting 0-0 or 1-0 to the Clarets for every game would not have gained enough points to win the prediction league. Well done Swiss for a title winning performance.

Thankyou Sinkov, very enjoyable. I think it will be a lot tougher next year, no more banking on no goals against. Congrats Swiss,
