The more and more I think about it, the more I think Pace?s comments were sooo badly judged. Even if we gave him the benefit of the doubt, and said he wasn?t talking about the fans. Your not telling me that he knows so little about sport in general, not to know that our record in the top flight is no where near acceptable. No matter how much money he has spent. Only 8 wins out of 63 within the last two outings in the top flight?? If he ran a sports team in the USA, whether be NBA, NFL, MLB? I?m certain that the reaction from fans would be just the same? Worse possibly, given the attendances of some of the major sports teams over there. He has dropped a major ricket with his interview, he should apologise.

It was obvious that Pace was on about the fans, although some fans are still trying to defend him on other forums, which is crazy when his daft daughter confirmed it.

Pace has driven a wedge between him and the supporters and all future abuse will be deflected from Parker onto Pace and rightly so
