    OT: Amber Rudd

is hanging on by the skin of her teeth, but the Guardian has been passed an internal document that proves conclusively that she was fully aware that targets were being used to get rid of people. Rudd's body language shows a woman in deep brown stuff who has no idea how to get out of it.
And nor can our illustrious Prime Minister pretend it's nothing to do with her. She set the ball rolling in this direction. The London elections next week will be a rout for the Tory party for many reasons and one of them is the number of Londoners whose British status is threatened by those who wish to send all immigrants home.
Cue for slagging off of Corbyn & Abbott, which has absolutely nothing to do with this mess of a government.

God almighty man, what's up with you? You never stop hoping and dreaming do you?

Corbyn & Abbott? Not even worth discussing.

I'm actually surprised this one has taken you so long Sid, but bravo.
Sack/resign Rudd? What does it achieve?
You have got all defensive about Corbyn/Abbott, but pot and kettle does come to mind.
Abbott screaming for her resignation and talking about honor? It was a bit rich coming from her(though it did make me laugh), seeing how many times she has been caught out, particularly with her racism.
Maybe Rudd, should go sick till it all dies down(snigger)?

However, back to your main point.
The London elections. Worried about their British status? Exactly who has said all immigrants should be sent home?
Considering London is over 50% foreign born now, I would expect you are right to some degree, they SHOULD BE WORRIED.
There is an estimated 1 000 000 illegals in this country.
For years this country has been deceived by many governments as to the scale and quality of immigrants.
Labour under Blair, opened up a free for all in order to gain votes. The EU policies have allowed many illegals, to come under false documentation pretending to be people they are not. (Brazillians-Portugese/ Bosnians-Romanians etc).

However rubbish they have been, the Tories were trying to do something. They have made a complete hash of it granted. But this wasn't all their doing and I see no acceptance of blame from previous politicians.
As for the windrush migrants. The governments have had over 40 years to sort this. They failed.
WHY IS IT ALL ON RUDD'S AND MAY'S HEADS?

BTW- We are still awaiting Labour resignations over Iraq and the shameful inquiry into the lies we were told.

Damn I thought this was a thread about fishing.
I've had the odd rudd in the Trent but I didn't think you could catch them up there.

Seriously though, she might have to go despite May wanting to keep the cabinet balance and the scandal away from her. If she does go, she might be another vote for the Dominic Grieve group. That's another reason there'll try not to lose her.

Rudd in the Trent were always rare. It has always been a predominant Roach river. Funny really, how you are more likely to catch a roach/bream hybrid than a Rudd.
Maybe a Corbyn/Abbott hybrid is what is needed? ;-)

Tories generally go into politics for 2 reasons; to keep their mates rich and make the poor poorer. They don’t go in with any morality so why anyone would expect them to leave with any is a mystery. May should have gone ages ago.

Anyway, f00k politics, big day tomorrow, COYP!!!!

    Did you know time.

Did you know, according to Isaac Walton in his book The Compleat Angler, the River Trent was called Trent because of the French word "trente" = thirty, meaning there were thirty species of fish to be found therein?

Not a lot of people know that.
