    Well, i just have and to be honest that's a huge hole you've just shot in your foot, i've listed ONLY the paid public holidays, remember, we have 8...

    Australia = 10
    Austria = 13
    Belgium = 10
    China = 11
    Denmark = 11
    Finland = 11
    France = 11
    Germany = 9
    India = 15
    Ireland = 9
    Italy = 12
    Luxembourg = 10
    Holland = 11
    Poland = 13
    Spain = 14
    Sweden = 9

    So, not one of those as low as ours, looking at it the average is probably 11......

    Very true Lasterman. Nobody has ever got rich without the help of the workers often working long hours, with poor pay and working conditions. You should become a socialist one day you know how the capitalist system works.

    look I just wanna get pissed on a Sunday watching us in the final and not have to worry about pulling a obvious sicky (iv had holiday rejected) on a monday

    I remember this same debate ages ago. I went off and researched that the amount lost in £ from business closure, the economy gains from the resulting boost on spending from the public, from retail places and online that will remain open to sell. Pretty much evens itself out. But of course, the more financially 'strained' small businesses that don't have anything to gain from the boost to retail sales within the UK can claim fairly to lose out disproportionately.

    Not dragging up that same research again though. Do it yourselves if yer bothered! :-)

    And none of those workers ever took up (and kept doing) those jobs unless it was the very best option open to them at the time - and certainly better than they could muster up through their own ingenuity, effort and enterprise.
