Be prepared to travel. Most centres are booked up solid and gaps are rare.
My parents got a local one, but my nearest gap was the QMC. There was a lot of spaces in Derbyshire, if you do live there though.

Rare/non-existent gaps are good - I'm even less bothered than I normally am about 'wanglers-in' who effectively jump the queue (I know of three) I think wasting a spot (if it results in a wasted jab) is worse.

I had some blood taken yesterday for a check up next week. I was the last of the 8 till 9 session. I asked if they were busy. It appears every session is fully booked. Problem was she said, people. A woman had booked 2 slots that session, 10 past 8 and 25 to 9...... and was a no show for both.

Thankfully got a local one next Saturday. Otherwise there's a few options with surrounding towns/cities. Got a text from GP this morning with a link, clicked it and booked, so simple. Hats off to the people behind the scenes, it's a phenomenal job they're doing.

Couldn't agree more. Lets be honest here, we are trying to arrange millions to get something done correctly. The logistics involved are huge. But it's something we are leading the way in.

Had a phone call last Friday from my GP, they booked my appointment there and then for the next day (Sat) for 7pm. Arrived 10 minutes early, joined a massive queue (est 300-400) so expected a long wait! They were jabbing like they were shelling peas, I left at 7.25pm would you believe and back home an hour after leaving!
Incredible efficiency, can't praise them enough, well done NHS!

I have had to smile a few times today whilst looking on Fakebook. Quite a few referring to the millions who've had the jab plus those wanting it as "sheep". One even claimed that snow makes 5G more effective so they'll be better able to track the inocculated.......

We'll have snow tomorrow and it will be on the ground for maybe a week..... what then?

There are some stupid folk about.
