    It was clear as night versus day how the intensity dropped off with the subs brought on. Swift for Rogic was actually an improvement. Dike for BTA was also fine. Even Reach for Diangana had marginal impact. But Grant and TGH for Wallace and Mulumby forced us into total retreat.

    I think the defence is looking OK. Ajayi will come back and there is also Bartley and Kelly. Plus TGH can slot in at fullback. It’s midfield where we need more options. Mulumby has been a revelation since Carlos’s paired him with Okay. But if either get injured we don’t have options. So for me a couple of decent midfielders please. Upfront I think we have enough options.

    Kyle Bartley out for up to five weeks so things can change that quickly.
    We need players for sure to keep this going, otherwise this may peter out because of our injury build up.
    Loans may be the way forward again..
