    mentally weak

Can't hang on to leads no matter who's in charge. 3 times this season we've now conceded in stoppage time, and twice when we've got the game won.

Or put it another way, we have got 4 pts from 2 away games which not many would have thought we'd get last weekend, we are playing 4-3-3 or a version of it which fans wanted and given the turmoil at the club behind the scenes over the past week we have done well!

Or do you just want to slag off the team and the owner all the time??

I don't think it is slagging off, rather it's a statement of fact. It is becoming endemic that we concede late on!! Teams that want to be successful don't develop 'shoot yourselves in the foot' habits. We have included it in our repertoire for a few years and it's time to address the problem!! The art of closing out a game is an essential requirement if we want to move forward.

Maybe but that poster does nothing but slag off the team and it would be interesting to compare stats and see IF we are actually worse than other teams, Norwich for instance lost 2 goals in 94 and 95 mins mid week to lose a game they were winning!

Plus its easy to be negative but isn't the fact we have picked up 4 pts from two away games worth noting FFS?

Yes, of course it is, but I stress that part of taking 2 paces forward without several back is to address basic errors which usually show themselves as repeating cock-ups!! Now most of our late goals conceded are simple errors such as 'switching off', giving the ball away instead of wellying it into the stands, poor substitutions etc and most can be eradicated with good training, sensible management, discipline, concentration and sheer determination!! Even in the Prem teams like Burnley have learnt (through necessity) to see out games for well earned points so we must make it an urgent priority!!

A week ago we'd have been delighted at the prospect of four points from Cardiff and Reading. Yes it's disappointing but it seems we weren't that far from a 100% return, or at least 10/12 from our last four games and we've started scoring so maybe things are looking up a bit.

I don't think yesterday was a case of being mentally week, just poor defending.

Our fullbacks are terrible and were inviting balls into the box as gift-wrapped birthday presents, they didn't block or attempt to block a single cross. Reading put 4 or 5 hopeful crosses in withing a 2 minute period (their only spell of pressure in the game, they didn't even look hopeful of scoring), most were dealt with but the last 1 was put behind by Anya. The resulting corner wasn't dealt with, and as soon as the ball dropped in the 6 yard box it was only going to end up in 1 place. All could have been avoided if our full backs did their jobs, but they made it easy for the Reading wingers.

I haven't see Lowe play, but he can't be worse than Olsen or Baird, and Christie was just god awful. Regardless of formations, this is a real weak area.

Agree here Adi. It could be that we have the players already to fill the positions. Hanson and Lowe. I would definitely persist with Cyrus, as he suits the 433, not great in a 442, doesn't suit his style.
