A big job on his hands after today's performance.

Good luck Paul, you're going to need it.
A massive job on his hands, Wolves currently lie nine****th in the table and look light years away from gaining three points on current form. How he lifts the shambles of a defence is anyone's guess. It's all very well trying to blend in a mixture of seasoned championship players with foreign imports, but are the latter up for the fight?
Who saw this coming? I mean us being in a relegation fight after the Chinese take over with all the new money pumped into the club buying all these new players. Not me! In fact I put a tenner on us finishing in the top 6! We have players other Championship teams would die for. And after the first 5 games we were taking teams apart. Now that dark shadow which as Wolves fans we have suffered too many times is casting itself over the club again but this time it is so unexpected. Zenga was never the right man for the job as his C.V showed and the football pundits jumped on it. Sometimes I think we are jinxed having had managers like Graham Taylor who could not get us up out of this 'God forsaken league'(Charles Ross) and when we sell our failures on they start to score with some playing in the Prem' now. Does that Old Gold and Black shirt weigh so heavy? It seems so to me looking back and to the present.
Well Paul lets 'hope' and pray you can save us from a fate that was never on the radar until the slide.
Going to be interesting to see how he does. I think promotion challenge would be a tough ask for this season considering where we are. But what I'd like is for Wolves to just establish their style of play, show up for more than one half, and be consistent. Do those and the rest will take care of itself.
Solid appointment and I think Lambert is not the coach that was a Blackburn. He did what was asked at Villa, did well with Norwich and with Colchester. Hopefully his tenure at Wolves more closely resembles his first two jobs than his last two.
Welcome Paul, it's a SH*T job but someone has to do it!!![]()
I wonder what Lambert's thoughts were on the twelve month rolling contract?
Anyway, good luck Paul.
