Why rafa has to go and fools follow

The team yesterday was one that finished top 10 last year

but to aman not one has inproved under rafa
infact i would say is b y far worse than last season

rafa can say what he wants

and as fans we can split things into two categories

we all want a new owner
if we think that willl improve the club thats a different argumnet

    but undder rafa
    the team is going backwards

he can try and cause a smoke stream that only fools fall for

but the truth is as a coach and manager he is failig miserably

    we need him gone

as much as we need anew owner

You mean the same team tgat DREW away to palace last season, folkowing a 2nd half backs to the wall performance?

    You are right.

No improvement..... due to no investment.

    No regression either.

Well done Rafa, in the face of adversity.

How the hell can u expect us to improve in league position when we spend barely anything, then 2 promoted clubs spend close to £100m or even more, then other clubs such as west ham everton spend close to £80m and the likes of Bournemouth, etc spend £25m on one player????????

    Your the only foool here

Diame, Lascelles, Dummett to name 3 that have improved.

We have a team of really hard workers that don’t give up. The bits of quality we do have Ritchie, Lascelles, Shelvey and Kenedy have either been off form or injured.

You said you wanted to see us go forward in games and we have done in the last 2. We were better than Palace for much of the game yesterday. I thought we deserved our draw and with better finishing could have won.

There’s only one person and his stooges to blame for a squad lacking quality. The fans made it pretty plain what we think of him yesterday. Palace fans we spoke to in Balham afterwards were full of praise for our support.

I m not saying improve the league position but the players are not improving

we went on a run last season when rafa fiannaly let the lads attack it statred at the manure game

we have an average of 2 shots on target at the moment
i thinkwe mustered 3 on saturday

    the lads are not defenders
with shelvey in the side we need to attack and create and get forward

evenry player is either hit a glass ceiling or are going backwards under rafa

yes we should have had more investment
but we should also see an improvemnet from the players we had
    but w havent

Pboro - you couldn't come back last week after claiming that Rafa should look to Chris Hughton for tactical nous and I showed you how much criticism Hughton was getting from the Pboros of Brighton.

I thought therefore that you might to check out a few of the comments from your southern doppelgangers after the Brighton-Spurs game. Have a look at the selection below.

“You would think the Spuds were at home”

“I can’t believe how pathetic we are we ain’t even tested their rookie keeper”

“Much too negative again in the first half by Albion. We just seem to wait to go behind every game.”

“Seemingly another 1st half disaster--good job Spurs are not playing either!! All that money spent on transfers and we cannot mount a decent attack or shot on goal. We will have to see whether things improve in the second half!! Certainly cannot get much worse.”

“Rubbish ... we have never really looked like we've been in this game ... too negative from CH as usual ... we have the players not the tactics or the right mindset ... we never look fired up !....we just don’t start games and that’s the manager’s fault !!”

“Disappointed with Albion in last THREE games---they have to wait to be behind before they start to play.”

“Time for a change, every game is the same, no quality, not able to put the chances away, negative tactics just trying not to lose by a hatful.”

“Hughton needs to go now while there is still time to turn it round and not get relegated.
Everybody says what a great guy he is, that may be the case but I want a winner not a nice fella.”

“This defeat was totally down to Hughton’s tactics. How long is he going to carry on flogging a dead horse when it clearly doesn’t work? We can’t expect to set up to be ultra defensive and try to stifle the opposition to sneak a draw and then, when they score (as they all will at this level), suddenly change”

“When is CH going to learn, if you start in a negative formation you won't get anything!”

“To my mind Chris Hughton is not motivating the players enough and not being offensive enough tactically and it is costing us. Also he needs to be proactive with substitutions when things aren't working.”

“Hughton will lose his job it’s only a matter of time. He will lose like he lost the other jobs because he is too negative and believes we cannot bear teams in the top six.”

“Getting shot of CH can’t come soon enough, he is out of his depth. A mediocre championship manager at best. We need somebody with some character, some leadership, some ideas and the ability to make these players work for their living. “

    Good post Kemptown.

Again it´s people wanting to see attacking football with goals from their team when they are outclassed in terms if quality in every position. Anyone who thinks that taking the game to top 6 opposition will result in a 4-3 or 4-2 defeat is talking out of their a*se - it´s more likely to be a 3-0 or 4-0 defeat and destroys any self belief that players might have had.
