A good well earned point from this end-to-end promotion chasing clash at the Valley on Saturday.

The first half saw Sunderland in the ascendancy but Charlton very much had the upper hand in the second.

Sunderland scored first on two minutes from a Luke O’Nien goal. The Add1cks equaliser came from a Reece James own goal after Lyle Taylor's cross was deflected into the net.
