    A New Beggining.

Many of you on here will be aware of the way I’ve fallen out of love with my club since Pulis walked through the door.

I said at the start of last season that I’d rather watch a team of Albion youngsters playing in League One or Two than players like J Rod p o n c I n g around the pitch on £50k a week and Dawson acting like a baby and playing like a t w a t because he hadn’t been allowed to go!

I’ve wanted Kyle Edwards included since I saw him playing for Exeter two seasons ago and I love Sam Field who I still believe is streets ahead of Livermore.

Young Ferguson was tremendous against Forest, please god don’t leave him out now.

Some incredible young talent at our place as well as those recently lost, let’s hope the loss of Shan isn’t going to spoil our youth set up.

I only came to two matches last season such was my indifference to management and the “old brigade” still playing.

I’m feeling a stirring in my loins.

Well done Slaven for having the nous and the confidence in our youth.

    Brighter times ahead I feel.

A kind offer Paul but I’m still a small number of years away from the East Stand and all the old people who smell slightly of wee 😆

Is Baggy Boy Geoff still amongst your throng?

That may be the Viagra so Mick....if you thought an 8 hour boner was hard....you could have a season long one and still be happy....

It looks like some of our young lads are coming of age. I think it was too soon for some, and always will be for Burke. Wish we could just sell him off for a loss. Ferguson was immense, Edwards has come a long way in 12 months. We forget how daunting it is for young lads, Ferguson said it was much more physical playing first team matches and that's one of the main reasons there is caution playing the lads. I can't get too excited because I know that the moment a kid shines he will be snapped up by one of the big money clubs. Like it or not our academy is here purely to make money from new found talent. Enjoy it while you can.

A bit harsh on Burke Boingy. Given 25 minutes out of position you couldn't expect much more.
Hopefully he is a work in progress for Bilic.

Chris how long have you known about Burke now? He cant play football. Its not harsh he's an embarrassment to the club. He spent yesterday pretending to go into challenges but wasn't even close. He runs away from the ball. When he has the ball he runs it out of play. Been doing it for years.

Tend to agree! Don't see what Burke brings to the game! He was mostly crap in Scotland and now on his social it's just Scottish crap on there - why? Also keep questioning what Livermore brings to the party as he keeps giving the ball away - why not give Field a go!

Picking up on a point from Mick - why did the two novices not spot Ferguson and Edwards and throw them in - Edwards was mostly ditched after initially shining.

The passion and body language from Bilic is fantastic - more so in one match than the numpties Moore and Shan did in their entire duration in the hot seat. Not difficult is it!

We need another three players as Bilic quite rightly has acknowledged ( especially a striker ) and think we will be decent.

Sawyers for me in like our new Mulumbo and will be awesome! Still worried about Johnstone in goal though.

It will be a heroes welcome for Slaven though on Saturday and the passion in this guy is immense and makes you want to be there just to see that. Shan - you might want to see it too as it's one of the main qualities to be a leader !

Let’s face it these young lads wouldn’t get a sniff if the manager was aloud to bring in targets he really wants, they were playing yesterday simply because that’s all we have.

A pretty Decent performance yesterday still work in progress , just hope they
( the board ) give Bilic the players he wants , we all know we need more players in key areas , more hopeful this season after one game than I was for the whole of last season COYB .
PS the team looked great in the old yellow & green , happy days so far from me ,
