Dunno about that, he wasn't being much praise from hibs fans, I doubt this will work out tbh

Plus their striker has signed for York, hard to see McGeady replacing that.

The legendary voice of Ted Lowe Terence, those were the days my friend. He once said of Fred Davis over stretching for a shot,"Fred's getting on a bit and is having trouble getting his leg over."

I'm sure that quote is correct GB but was it not followed with the following due to Fred being ambidextrous (may have been an apocryphal tale though)! "Fred's getting on a bit and is having trouble getting his leg over so he's using his left hand instead".

Anyone else think the powers that be at United starting to realise by rebuilding on the cheap ain’t working ?? , Goodwin now saying we are still in the market for players after apparently saying was happy with squad

I reckon we will be seeing Mulgrew back on the pitch this season...and to be fair (tin hat on)....I think he could still do a job at this level! Having watched our back line in the past few days, it looks like they still have PTSD from the crisp playing behind them. I think there is a massive need to have a calming influence in the back line. If CM can get his head into just doing the simple things and realised that his level is now the championship....then I think he could be an asset. Thoughts?

More likely just trying to appease supporters in the hope of squeezing out a few more season tickets.

My personal opinion - I believe the rumours to be true: that Mulgrew interfered with first team affairs beyond his station last season and was a huge influencing factor in our eventual relegation.

I believe the team downed tools on 3 separate occasions and Mulgrew was a key player in making that happen.

He has reportedly been told he can leave and to find a new club but he’s refusing to leave without his contract being payed up. If he’s been told he’s not wanted then I don’t see him being motivated to help the team.

I think on paper, of course he’d be an asset in this league but for me there are far too many questions about what went on last season.

For the above reasons, I don’t even want to see his name being associated with United, much less considered as a first team player.
