The real frustration about this was that there wasn't much difference between the teams. They were as bad as any we've played but we had no threat and pace up front to punish them.We were crying out for a pacey forward at the very least but we finished up with Wyke who is slow and a like for like with Hugill. It's just a crying shame the manager did not get the backing to buy Lang, who would have been the perfect player alongside Nombe. He had the pace and an eye for goal, look how many he's already scored for Pompey. We could have been in a much healthier position with a quicker player up front like him.

Light at the end of the tunnel! League 1 can't be up to much if those 4 stooges can get a club into 2nd place in it! LR his assistant are clueless Evans like someone said the only manager I can think of we can get who can make the NYS bouncing again!

The away dugout…..it was so opposing managers could not hound that linesman…he could be left in peace.

Precisely,Warney said the away bench were constantly giving advice to the linesman and I fully agree with what he did.Give it a rest Gru.

There is a caveat though….the refs are supposed run a diagonal across the pitch, opposing space where the linesman (or woman) is not.
Therefore he is nearer the away dugout potentially. The clever refs tend to run up and down, trying to stay away form both benches!

You’ve got to laugh or cry!

Strange how we move dugouts after what happened at the Doncaster away game!

    Totally agree Saw,
we have to stick with this guy.We know he has a mammoth task to sort the club and the team out, but let him have another season to see if he can reproduce his Wigan feats. Sacking him and starting again are going to put us back to square one once more. We need to hit the ground running next term, and he has a better chance of doing that than another new face would.

Correct me if I’m wrong but didn't’ he have the top budget at Wigan and signed good players on great wages. That’s why they got into financial trouble. All academic because our leader will pull the plug after the Owls game.
