I spoke to a North person this morning.
Why do they say t' in front of everything?
Going t' pub,
Going t' the turf,
Taking t' whippet out.
Going t'chip shop.
Going up t' Pendle hill,
t'ect.
Is it a speech impediment that North folk suffer from?
Maybe Alf can answer my honest question.
And what is a "Twohat" ? :)

trickydick

Maybe the driver was on his or hers PNB. (Physical needs break), We all need to go to the toilet.
Or maybe the driver was having a game of cards or doing a bit of shopping.
Time fly's when playing cards and shopping Alf XD

So you say "Should of said" As well Alf. Good grief you just contradicted yourself There.
Tannoy is a manufacturer of public address systems.
Only old people call a public address system a "Tannoy"
Don't think your Grammar school education worked for you very well to be honest.
And my education was fine thank you.

I'm Cumbrian. You're all Midlanders, unless you're from south of Stafford in which case you're southerners or French.

Michael Parkinson is the biggest scrounging Northerner i know of.
Made a career out of letting other people talk on a chat show and now doing adverts conning the elderly or something.
And they no doubt get a free Parker pen.
What a tosser.

Because it's wrong that's why.
When has something wrong ever stopped a yorkie from saying though eh?
Burnsey, like you is full of wind (he must have yorkie blood flowing though his veins) :D

Aww no dont tell me your a bird Les, that is totally unacceptable. Now run along to the Fish shop and get our dinner, theres a good lad XD

I had a few ding dongs on here and on the old Accy board with Burnsey, but we were both as bad as each other. It all turned out to be nonsense in the end ;)
