Yes I believe he is. Murphy isn't fit and they say young Bass isn't ready. Personally I'd have Jones ahead of Murphy any day even if he was fit. Sadly I don't get paid a fortune for making poor decisions. B)

And what is the state of play with Murphy? I think Cook has realised he has made an error with Jones. I know he has his faults but for me he is better than Murphy (too small), Fulton (too inexperienced), and Poke (ditto) if he is still with us? I havent seen Jones since the Oxford game last September and he was superb. Kept us in the game in the first half with several top saves. 4 goalkeepers and not one top drawer imho but for me Jones is the best.
