Yes I believe he is. Murphy isn't fit and they say young Bass isn't ready. Personally I'd have Jones ahead of Murphy any day even if he was fit. Sadly I don't get paid a fortune for making poor decisions.

Just had a couple of slashes in Oxford today Phil. I've been everywhere man.

Incidentally your post has thrown up an interesting aside.

    Ticket to Ride
While the song lyrics describe a girl "riding out of the life of the narrator", the inspiration of the title phrase is unclear. McCartney said it was "a British Railways ticket to the town of Ryde on the Isle of Wight".

Is it true, the rumour that the Jocks don't need Fulton ?
or as i have Cook is asking him to be released.
If this is the case why bring Jones back from Crawley

And what is the state of play with Murphy? I think Cook has realised he has made an error with Jones. I know he has his faults but for me he is better than Murphy (too small), Fulton (too inexperienced), and Poke (ditto) if he is still with us? I havent seen Jones since the Oxford game last September and he was superb. Kept us in the game in the first half with several top saves. 4 goalkeepers and not one top drawer imho but for me Jones is the best.
