I enjoyed it.
A lot of truth in it and its well written in a good angry tone
Read it quick sharp too so that's a sign of a good bookLast edited by Pacman1903; 29-10-2018, 06:25 AM.

Not normally for myself, however after a long day/late night, I’ve casually read the back pages/sports sections about our first ever cup match V Sevco.......will finish them soon.Originally posted by Pacman1903 View PostI enjoyed it.

Nah you were probably right. He's a sell out. Probably wasn't even in the SAS. I never once saw him during my time in the special forces.Originally posted by Pacman1903 View Post
Never been a fan of the guy. But enjoying this. Two books in one. One where he climbs Everest and the other where he sails the Atlantic through the frozen North on his own.
Maybe my image of him being a TV celebrity walloper was a bit wrong

We usually just referred to it as 22. I only called it the SAS for anyone reading who hasn't managed 4 tours behind enemy lines like myself.Originally posted by Mason89 View PostCheck out Walter Mitty there ^^^
The fact you even call it the SAS tells me you weren’t in it. Nobody ever called it that when I served in the Regiment

That’s fair enough, sorry. I’m just a bit nippy having given up smoking. I used to love lighting up an EmbassyOriginally posted by mondo_notion View PostWe usually just referred to it as 22. I only called it the SAS for anyone reading who hasn't managed 4 tours behind enemy lines like myself.
