Naturally. I only wish it was billed as such. Its a terrible book to be honest.

Nina de la Mer's follow-up to Layla, itself a great read, almost as good as Jim Gordon's pianner coda to the Dominos' song of the same name.

This time, she's tracking the escapades of a couple of squaddie cooks who spend most of their time off their paps on MDMA in Hamburg during the classic days of 90s ecky-fuelled dance. About halfway through, I have come to the conclusion that she is about the only member of the female gender I've experienced with an ability to understand, as Roddy Frame put it, how men are.

It reinforces my belief that had I been young enough from 87-94, I'd have been chomping on 'the dirties' as they're referred to in the book and would have been a slave to the rhythms.

Too young for acid, too old for ecstasy, I have to make do with 30mg of Lansoprazole daily to combat the only acid I've ever known. Easy come, easy go.

Just started reading again as I begun my trip the other day (don't read anything on days off). I know its biased towards one side, but pretty amazing allegations being made so far. Like a real life Line of Duty I guess.

F*cking hard book to get hold of, not sure if it's true or not but heard it's actually banned in the UK.......

Interesting chapter about the new grounds in Turkey all being built out of town and the attendances dwindling.

Amedspor finds itself playing without its fans because of its associations with the Kurdish community.

Funnily enough. Finished the book then this was on the net. These guys get a chapter to themselves in it

You would be able to pick it up for pennies now
