The Defiant Ones on Netflix is good. The story of Jimmy Iovine and Dr Dre and how they got together. Both come across really well and everyone from the boss to Snoop dog doing the talking heads bit.

When is the new deadliest catch on? I've seen the series opener/teaser.
Enjoyed C4's 24 hours in police custody especially the first episode of the newest series. I'll catch up on the new Island with Bear Grylls later.
Still enjoying 'Last week tonight with Jon Oliver' and was off sick for a bit last week so went through the whole of 'the office'. Don't think I could ever tire of watching that.

Aye the wife and I were the same at times. It's pretty hectic. Bloody amazing though.Originally posted by mondo_notion View PostBought the series on Google play and watched it over the weekend on flights etc. I enjoyed it but I must admit I got lost a wee bit. I maybe should have nuked the first 2 as a refresher.

A wee bit. Like all good series they dragged it out a bit longer than they should have. Not as much as some other series. The Walking Dead has disappeared up its own erse for a good few series now.Originally posted by Pacman1903 View PostDo you nae think Breaking Bad got too far fetched
Really good to start then got not as good

If you enjoy Gomorrah, check out Maltese on 4 OD or all 4- whatever it is called these days. 70s Italian cop drama- very good.
Other world dramas that are decent under the Walter Presents banner are-
Mr Alvila- hit man under the auspices of a funeral parlour (Mexican? I think)
Fugitives - Drug dealers on the run- Chile
Deutschland 83 - was on E4 a year or so again- set during the Cold War East German soldier recruited to infiltrate West German military and spy for the east
Others I still have to look at- Black Widow May also be worth a watch

Got 'Killing Eve' recommended yesterday so stuck episode 1 on and nearly finished the whole season before I went to bed. Shown on BBC America, it is classed as a thriller but it's got a lot of humour throughout. If psychopathic Russian assassins is your thing you will like this.

That is the two leads - The MI5/6 agent (on the right) tasked with finding the assassin (on the left).
Jodie Comer plays the killer. Batsh*t crazy, ***y as hell and doesn't seem to mind premature ejaculation. My kinda woman!
Love this show, and a second series has been announced.
