I can't see the hound dying, he's been close too many times before. He's wanted to end it himself a couple times so it would need to be something pretty spectacular for the scriptwriters to bump him off now. Only person I can see him dying for is Arya.
Agree about Briene though, she'll be toast at some point.

Jeezo, must I explain military tactics to you amateurs every time? The thing with catapults is that they’re range weapons. The thing with the undead, is that they like to fight hand to hand. They were always going to be a use once weapon. As for the Dothraki, they fight on horses. Where were you planning on putting them, if not at the front? It’s nice you all take an interest in these matters but it’s best left to the professionals.
I think the hound will die killing the mountain, which will be a bit cheesey

I reckon Cleganebowl will be a fight to the death for both of them. Jon's was brought back to fulfill a purpose just as Beric was. Briene's death (Bronn, accidentally?) will be the reason Jaime kills Cersei.Originally posted by mondo_notion View Post

Horses at the front? Heavy lolz. It's not the 800s Persia anymore.Originally posted by Mason89 View PostJeezo, must I explain military tactics to you amateurs every time? The catapults weren't used once. If the Dothraki didn't charge like they were being lead by Lord Cardigan, then they could have reloaded the trebuchets and made better use of archers. The Dothraki could have then had their suicide mission on the flanks. Slowing the dead right down.
I suppose none of that would have made a massive difference but there's a military text book and it should have been used more efficiently. Shambles.

I suppose the argument could be made that all the military 'mistakes' were made purely to lead the Night King in to a false sense of security. He would see the Dothraki obliterated and his army of the dead breach the walls before deciding it was time to finish it for good and go for Bran in the woods.
Of course he wasn't to know that Arya was also making her way there with a dragon stone dagger in hand.
