Hmmm, not sure that is right. Latest YouGov poll (sampled 17-20 April) shows SNP on 38% (Constituency) and 30% (List) compared with 48% and 40% respectively at the last Scottish elections. So down a full 10%. I know there is margin of error and this is just one snapshot but there is a clear decline in SNP support given all the recent events. Whether that is just a passing phase and "normal service" is resumed we will see I guess.

The strange thing about that poll is that the Westminster poll puts them on a 2% drop, which all things considered is pretty good.

I think people are rightfully hacked off with them up here, but overall the independence argument is holding up well.

Even if Starmer is voted in next year and makes life a little better for folk, we know that the slippery Tory bas tards are only ever an election away from power down south on a promise to reverse any good that's been done by the Socialist/Communist Labour party!

I was aware of Spuds from back in the day, and I'd heard of Hertha also.

My loon has been over to Porto just about every year ( covid permitting) for ages now.
One of the Boavista lads got marred last year, a real posh do, a good time was had by all.

Of course the hospitality is reciprocated, I met a few of them at Hampden when we won the League Cup a few years back.

Of course, getting rat ärsed is a major part of the festivities, but then, why wouldn't it be?

Statues being erected/ pulled down has happened throughout the ages.

There's a fair few english royalist ones up here that I wouldn't mind getting rid of.

Agreed she puts up with a lot, Having said that this whole Jewish mock outrage is getting out of hand, Has there ever been a more offended peoples than the Jews. Notwithstanding I'm very aware of genocide and atrocities during WW2 which makes their oppression of the Palestinians all the more puzzling. Of course Me questioning that would make me anti Semitic.

Yeah, maybe these groups who have put up with years (sometimes centuries) of oppression, marginalisation, abuse, humiliation, lesser opportunity, persecution etc. should learn to be less sensitive and get back in the box we put them in, just when they are starting to find a voice.
