I find this Huawei saga quite interesting. Big concerns being raised about the security of their kit and whether or not there is a back door in their software so that the Chinese military can utilise it to do.... well, bad stuff I guess.
My take on it is that given GCHQ is pretty much a world beater in all things cyber and communications related they would be able warn off if it was dodgy. They didn't and Huawei were told they can provide limited amounts of tech for the UK's 5G network. So some big money on the table.
Of course Boris has now done a U-turn with no other reason than Trump told him to. This the start of our wonderful trade deal with the yanks?
Any thoughts?

Why though? Because of security concerns with their kit or simply because they want a piece of the pie too?Originally posted by Jupiter View PostThe Yanks have screwed Huawei by banning them from using American software for designing chips. That explains Boris's u turn.
How much is it costing our economy doing Boris's U-turn? Trump say jump, BoJo says how high?

I find it hard to believe that Russians wouldn't want Brexit , surely a strong EU is the last thing Russia wants .
The committee has not however assessed the extent of Russian influence on the Brexit referendum arguing it "would be difficult if not impossible to assess and we have not sought to do so.
Canna mak it up .. That London government speak about the Russians like they are the danger the real danger is that lot .
They are nothing more than a propaganda machine .
But less and less folk are falling for it due to social media where our voices can be heard and shared .
The union has no place here in Scotland.
