  • Need to have a law that stops MSPs being MPs and vice versa. That goes for any of the devolved nations too if they can do the same.

    It's just wrong.

Up that neck of the woods there has been a large influx of guffs over the past few years. Mix that with a large Hun fanbase in a lot of areas and it may well become a safe Tory seat for years.

          • There's also a bunch of farmers who bell-cow to the tories.
            Sad.

I'd like to think the fisherman have realised you can't trust the tories. I'm hoping the fairmers aren't far behind.

Farmers vote Tory. It's what they do.

                • Seems a bit of political skullduggery going on behind the decision that seen Douglas Ross get the Tory nomination for the Aberdeenshire North and Moray seat.

Seems a few in the party not happy with what happened, so hopefully all is not lost in those parts.

Be beautiful to see that c*nt Ross lose the seat now after all this.

                  • Looks like he can’t trust a Tory either. Somebody has ratted him out over his expenses

                    • Is there some sort of agreement between the parties that Brexit must not be mentioned in this campaign?
Are they both scared of losing the Gammon vote?

Remember how we couldn't stay in the EU without the union?
Remember the "vow" by Broon and his MSM?

Why would you put trust back in parties that the Scottish electorate have little influence over when it comes to policies?

'the agri brigade' piece in the last private eye points out how badly farmers (in England and Wales) are doing since brexit. Mostly down to voting away their EU acreage subsidies.

Scotland has committed to keeping these direct payments making farmers north of the border a bit better off. Whether that is enough to turn them away from their traditional tory vote, I dunno.

And no mention of the pandemic...Rish£ at one point in the first debate bigged himself up about the furlough scheme so why didn't Starmer immediately ask "And how many deaths were caused by eat-out-to-help-out"?

                            • Douglas Ross to resign as Tory leader in Scotland after the election.

Will also resign as an MSP if we wins his new seat.

Who do the Tories have up here to take over as a leader? Must be time for the even more loathsome Murdo Fraser to take the baton. Now there is a guy who make Ross look normal.

                              • Nigel Farage keeps getting pelted with things while on the campaign trail.

I think it's terrible. What a waste of milkshakes and other food, especially in a cost of living crisis.
