Im not convinced there was anything she could do that wouldve been enough, if youre still willing to overlook the other stuff. Theres only two possible reasons for that
If she had sat there and did absolutely nothing at all, like Charlie Mulgrew seeing out his contract, that would still be preferable to what the other side was offering
Bannon giving Nazi salutes, Elon waving a chainsaw about and a measles outbreak in Texas. This week.
Still preferable to having a woman in charge though eh?

Well considering you cannot even name 1 thing she accomplished as VP.Originally posted by Mason89 View PostIm not convinced there was anything she could do that wouldve been enough, if youre still willing to overlook the other stuff. Theres only two possible reasons for that

I wouldve voted for every one if Trump was the other optionOriginally posted by Basingstokered View PostWell considering you cannot even name 1 thing she accomplished as VP.

They seem to have to prove themselves to you first before youd vote for one ahead of a r@pist

Because Harris in the role of VP (a role with a questionable level of influence on policy) accomplished little, Trump with his questionable....everything, including, but not limited to, the many policy and personality quirks listed in Mason's post, is a better option as "leader of the free world"(sic)?
That's what I'm getting from your argument but please correct me.

You do realize that Trump was president before. Perhaps you can tell us what you found so bad about living under his policies. You obvious did live in the states so will have knowledgeOriginally posted by Mason89 View PostI wouldve voted for every one if Trump was the other option

I worked over there for a wee spell in Texas. I found his supporters to be completely off their f*cking trolley. It?s the same opinion I have back here.Originally posted by Basingstokered View PostYou do realize that Trump was president before. What were his great achievements in his first spell as president?

I'm not all that concerned about what Trump, or any U.S. president, does in terms of domestic U.S. policies.Originally posted by Basingstokered View PostYou do realize that Trump was president before. The place is simultaneously terrifying and hilarious on that level and I'm not that interested.
Last time when Therapist was in office, the world was a much more stable, perhaps much less unstable is a better way to put it, place.
Ra pey still managed to cause a fair measure of global brouhaha but we got through it.
Then when he lost the election he tried to overthrow the result by violent means.
Once more, not my circus, not my monkeys.
The rather third world, politicised judicial system in the U.S. meant the orange buffoon was held to account for none of the illegal stuff he did in office (and historically).
Once more....circus...monkeys etc.
Now he's re-elected (bizarrely in my opinion) he would appear to be on a massive revenge tour, with a side order of global destabalisation.
I have no doubt he'll implement a few domestic short-termist policies that'll feed his cult followers.
But my only concern is the wider effect of his nonsense.
I'm not hopeful.

Revenge tour is that why Joe Biden have out some strange preemptive pardons with specific dates.Originally posted by InversneckieDob View PostI'm not all that concerned about what Trump, or any U.S. president, does in terms of domestic U.S. policies.

The destabilization is this all because he?s decided if Europe want to protect itself perhaps use their own armed forces

That's precisely why Biden issued the pardons, yes.Originally posted by Basingstokered View PostRevenge tour is that why Joe Biden have out some strange preemptive pardons with specific dates.

It was an awful thing to do and one which would've been unnecessary had a normal president been assuming office.
And I'm unsure Thereapist could find Europe on a map, but because he admires Putin so much, he'll support his efforts come what may.

I seem to remember people claiming Trump would give out preemptive pardons to his family at end of the 1st term and people saying it was a disgrace. The same people don?t have a problem with Biden doing it for his siblings and his in laws and don?t forgot Hunter.Originally posted by InversneckieDob View PostThat's precisely why Biden issued the pardons, yes.

What?s your alternative to a peace deal they invaded in 2022 and I don?t recall you demanding that Europe Troops must be sent into Ukraine. Do you think the sanctions were working. I did read that the EU were getting ready to impose a 16th round the other 15 were successful.face it if Europe are so adamant that they want the war to continue they can back Ukraine with military force.
