Don't talk pish. What's changed in your life that's so bad? What can't you do anymore? Call people a "poof" to their face?Originally posted by donsdaft View PostCensorship has increased to an unbelievable extent.
People are effectively gagged by not knowing which words are currently acceptable.
To the point where I recently watched a documentary about Guy Gibson, they mentioned his dog dying on the day of the air raid but couldn’t say what his dogs name was.
Do you really think that helps race relations?
As a white hetero***ual male, I am being pushed into a corner where I can do no right.
Watch out for when that particular dam bursts.

I made a nice Kenny McLean video for you the other day donsdaft but don't think it worked properly when I posted it on here. It had loads of pics of the lad in a video montage with Je t'aime moi non plus playing in the background. I think you would have appreciated itOriginally posted by donsdaftI certainly would still call someone a poof to their face.
What's different is that you would be there to support the mutent in his ***ual perversion
Said showdown....Originally posted by mondo_notion View PostDon't mean to drag you off topic but did anyone see trumps set too with the CNN reporter at a presser earlier. It's brilliant.

Where does dressing up as a certain Ghostbuster rank Mason?Originally posted by Mason89 View PostThere’s a difference between Prince Harry dressing up as a Nazi & this. The first is in poor taste but it’s not a crime. If however Harry goose stepped into the nearest synagogue, then that would be different.

What is the crime though? It’s a honest question. If you burn an effigy on a bonfire every year, which we do, is it not a crime too ? The trouble is it is subjective. the Greenfell thing would upset people, but it isn’t a crime. As for your view on 1984, I was using it in jest.Originally posted by Aldo1983 View PostSubjective to whom? A crime needs to be established before it gets anywhere near court. Then it's down to the judge or jury.
It's also hardly 1984. Folk have been rolling out that pish as long as the "it's health and safety gone mad" pish. What has exactly changed in all these years?
Things are changing, you can’t assume someone’s gender or in one guys case today (see sky news ), age !! He identifies himself as a 45 year old and wants to challenge it. Well I identify myself as 68, so I want my pension please !!

I'm not sure what crime it would be in England but there are several laws that it could potentially cover up here. You can't charge anyone without it being a crime in the first place. Ultimately the court will decide.Originally posted by Stupie82 View PostWhat is the crime though? It’s a honest question. I read that story and it's weird but its worth noting that the court hasn't heard the case and it's likely to get binned. When I was growing up, someone from Dollar wanted to be known as a wolf and tried to take it to court. That's nearly 30yrs ago.Things are changing, you can’t assume someone’s gender or in one guys case today (see sky news ), age !! He identifies himself as a 45 year old and wants to challenge it. I agree that folk are probably less resilient these days but at least folk can't go about calling someone who is gay a "poof".
