Depends. If I was a married man & slinked into bed for ‘sleepy cuddles’ with the staff, then aimed for her cheek with a kiss but ‘missed’, then yes, I’d shut the f*ck up.Originally posted by Jupiter View PostWould you shut up if that happened to you?
The real trick of course is not to be a handsy @rsehole in the first place. Leaves you open to this kind of stitch up, if that’s what it was.

‘Not proven’ on one charge, ‘not guilty’ on all of the others not dropped during the proceedings.Originally posted by Basingstokered View PostSurely none of it happened if the jury found him not guilty off all charges
Anyway, watching the narcissistic gropey ****er scrap with the individual with the demeanour and abilities of a random, competent civil servant, affecting some sort of Blairite ‘progressivism’ will be entertaining for those of us with no dog in the fight.

Doubt it. Nobody likes Salmond enough to really give a f*ck. Unionists will kick the hole out it on account they’ve got nothing left but it won’t be a resignation issue. There aren’t any anymoreOriginally posted by Basingstokered View PostSleepy cuddles and missed the cheek defense believed by 12 SNP fans could bring down Sturgeon classic. How very Scottish

I'm no lover of the SNP, they're a flawed body on a variety of levels, but in the (ever decreasing) years I have left on this planet, I'd like to spend some time living in a society where "let the markets decide" and "me, me, me" are not the prevailing ethics.
The only way I see this happening is for Scotland to become independent of Westminster.
So I'll carry on voting for them meantime.

The Parcel O Rogues that the sentimental tartanista like to describe, given the depth, width and length of incompetence shown by the party of government for the past 13 (THIR****) years, has been enlarged to such an extent, that DPD, Parcelforce, DHL and other free marketeer exploitative delivery merchants are having to re-think their entire logistics strategies to attempt to deliver a consignment of such magnitude.Originally posted by The Red Max View PostI've not got a horse in this race but if she is held to the same standards of accountability as the corrupt incompetent at Number 10 then Sturgeon won't be having too many sleepless nights about this.
What will the freemasonic Tory businessmen, staunch Burns Club members, do in two weeks time when their annual drunken proclamations of A Man’s A Man For A’ That brings temporary respite from worker exploitation until 0800 on 26 January, now that such gatherings are proscribed?
It’s a tricky one, right enough.

Yup, but not to mention a pro-austerity, low-tax party and govt up here that has rode the crest of a wave on a veneer of comparative competence and social justice based on the low bar set by the PoR down south and has benefitted from its broad church approach to capture the shires as well. I'm not with Tommy Sheridan on this one i.e. "get independence done and then socialism will take care of itself". The two go hand in hand or not at all.Originally posted by 57vintage View PostThe Parcel O Rogues that the sentimental tartanista like to describe, given the depth, width and length of incompetence shown by the party of government for the past 13 (THIR****) years, has been enlarged to such an extent, that DPD, Parcelforce, DHL and other free marketeer exploitative delivery merchants are having to re-think their entire logistics strategies to attempt to deliver a consignment of such magnitude.
