Thick people used to be bright enough not to showcase it that often. Now they’ve got a global community and it’s actively celebrated. They look at you as of your daft for listening to experts. The sight of Marjory Taylor Greene in the speakers chair the other day was mind boggling. It’s should terrify everyone how that’s even possible. Look how far Lee Anderson has got in life. That wouldn’t have happened 20 years ago. There’s been a massive shift backwards

I mean the guy can't just have an opinion. 'He's up to something and we need to stop him. It's war.' It's all just f*ckin *******s.

My Brother has taken to quoting Neil Oliver & Lozza Fox recently.
Needless to say he has recently discovered GB News.

            Well don’t guess.
You’re liable to be very wrong.

There’s nothing wrong with your internet connection.

              • Mudnet is pretty reliable.
It doesn’t do twitter and stuff though.

I mentioned this on the TV thread a while back... It's Laurence Fox inviting a GP on his show to talk about lockdowns and getting visibly p*ssed off when the doctor doesn't fully agree with him. The bit where Laurence dismisses using data to make informed decisions is hilarious.

                  • Apart from football and specs, history is my main interest.
I see the similarities between the internet and the invention of the printing press.

Nothing is really new, most things have happened before, and people are still people.

                    • Laurence never took the divorce well. He’s another one who’s dense and can’t figure out why every person on the planet is a d1ck, apart from him.

That style of presenting where the anchor does the long monologues, comes from RT. They were well ahead of the game.

                      • I see a lot of the headlines today include the term UK SUBS
                        What's Charlie done now?

That was my first thought when I saw that headline in the Pressreader & Journal.

Three columnists in that corner of the ‘net taking the opportunity to diss Sturgeon’s operational ability and outcomes, whilst casting doubt on the near-nepotism of the establishment’s backing of Yousaf, and endorsing Kate Forbes. I think that perhaps it’s a reflection of the shared felling of neglect that grows day by day north of Joe Fitzpatrick’s and Stewart the shagger Hosie’s Dundee.

Didn't take you long to get Statler and Waldorf in a tizzy again. Oh the power of social media (that, of course, certain people aren't affected or influenced by) to provoke a response.

Keep it up you three, you get me through the long nights

Agreed, But hey we have our very own self-righteous monologuesisters Piers Morgan, Richard Maddley, and the right wing doyen Andrew Neill, Re RT we have our very own "State broadcaster the BBC. Look on further than the propaganda during the Iraq invasion N.Ireland and what's happening in Ukraine today. IMO possible the most balanced broadcaster these days is Al Jazeera.

That's when I gave up watching telly.
