Keith Levene - Guitarist with PiL and founding member of The Clash before Strummer.
A brilliant guitarist and only 65.
    Far too young.
    RIP

That is sad new about Wilko. I only really got into Dr Feelgood a few years ago and although not my usual style of music, they were a very good band, don't know much of the post Wilko stuff, so can't comment on that, but they certainly had something about them in their original guise.

Only just finished reading his autobiography a few weeks back, both his and Brilleaux. Certainly don't make them like that anymore.

                Greg Bear.
One of the very finest science fiction writers of modern times.
It's a puzzle to me why none of his books have ever made it to film.

Doddie Weir - I ken nothing about rugby, but his fight against that c*nt of a disease MND is well known.

Wouldn't wish that disease on anyone.

                    I met Doodie once, 1992.
In Dublin for the rugby, in a dodgy Leeson St. nightclub.
He was with Gavin Hastings, there was a crowd of us on the go.
It was roughly 4am and we were all in a state of drink taken.

He came across as a nice, down to earth big radge.
RIP big fella, you gave that cu nt of a disease a fight.
                    But it's a rigged game.
