              He was tipped for the big time and won the league and proper mannies European Cup with Villa, but injuries blighted his career.

                    59? Christ he looked at least 15 years older than me in 1990, if not more, and yet he was only 5 years older…

                    1990 first World Cup I really got caught up in. First job and Costa Rica game was on as I was on bus home, avoided score and my mum handed me the video (Betamax) when I got home. Was raging at full time that she hadn’t just told me we got beat

                            • David Graham or better known as the voice of Parker from Thunderbirds, gone aged 99.

                              Thunderbirds was essential viewing when I was growing up, along with other Gerry Anderson creations.

                              He was also the voice of Grandpa pig from Peppa Pig, who my granddaughter adores.
