Once thats out the way, who is everyone hoping to see? This is where your iPlayer is worth the license fee alone

We’re excited to reveal our first Glastonbury Festival 2025 line-up poster. Charli XCX
    Wet Leg
    Chic
    Bebadoobee
    Wolf Alice
    Nadine Shah
    Beth Gibbons
    Future Islands
    Four Tet
    Billy Bragg

Possibly some more I have missed.

I am hoping that Pulp are this 'Patchwork' that are on the bill.

I'll be avoiding Rod the Mod on the legends stage, although I did see him on around 20 odd years ago and he was actually quite good.

      Im looking forward to
      Amyl & the Sniffers
      Beabadoobee
      Prodigy
      Charlie XCX
      Wet Leg
      TV on the Radio

I try really hard with Future Islands but the singer is the exact double of John McGinns uncle Franny and it puts me off

Im going to give anything that isnt the Kaiser Chiefs or Snow Patrol a go

I suppose it will be the usual bunch of nobodies and old fogeys.

A festival of bands youve heard of that arent too old would be a pretty niche event.

Who are you going to see after Atomic Kitten?

Amyl and the Sniffers are a shout.

Not my usual music, but I quite liked their last album.

I'll be looking forward to Kneecap too and hoping they do something big as a f*ck you to the UK and Scottish governments.

            Have you ever been yourself?

I've always fancied going, but a bit worried it is going to be full of rich w@nkers.

The sort who like Snow Patrol or Biffy fecking Clyro.

Nah, never been. Would love to have went in my younger days but T in the Park was always the easier/lazier option. Now I?d much rather be in my living room with a cargo watching it on the TV

You do get the impression that theres a lot of Ruperts and Ollys in the crowd

The only time I wish I had been there was 1988 when I got a top quality recording of The Waterboys performance which was incredible. Like many occasions now, it seems that attendance at such a prestige event, and the opportunity to self-glamorise that attendance on social media is the attraction rather than bathing in the glory of being in the mosh pit of a Blodwyn Pig reunion.

Aren't the people who go to Glastonbury these days mostly upper class twits and Guardian reading numpties?

Starmer now saying Kneecap should be banned from Glastonbury on account of the terror charge

Innocent until proven guilty Keith. Basic stuff

                      It's all actually quite sad.

All the shyte happening in this country and the world in general and he has time to make comment on this.

I think Glastonbury would lose a lot of credibility if the pulled them this late, but I don't think they will.

                      Starmer is a fraud.

Advisors obviously reckon it'll poll well with a large section of the public. It probably does to be fair but still seems a stupid fight to take on.

If hed done nothing, that large section of the public would never have heard of Kneecap. Hes just incredibly bad at politics

A day in the office, where I can't get to listen to the radio. I should be catching up with Songs on the Radio this afternoon though.

You've hyped it up more now, with the above post.
