It was apparently our new left back that was standing in the tunnel and not Pape.

I can't remember the lads name.

    I'd also forgotten about Tobers!

The number 7 and number 9 for us are two terrible players. Absolutely honking.
Some real poor performances from too many players last night. Ipswich could have added a few more if they stepped up the gas as we were looking extremely vulnerable and with no cutting edge.
The good thing is the match was just a friendly. The Hearts match is of far greater importance.
We need a bit tooling up though.

Yengi and Aouchiche didnt look great but hopefully its just a case of them settling in.

Milanovic looked promising when he came on.

Keskinen put in his usual frustrating performance, lots of talent but keeps making the wrong decisions.Morris still looks a better option off the bench.Big season for the 2 of them as well as Palaversa.

Not sure if the new left back was injured but I noticed he is number 77 and the number 3 is still vacant so possibly another left back coming in?

We definitely need to bring in more players considering the amount of games we will be playing this season.

It could be a very tough season if we use Jimmy's preferred tactics permanently. I still don't think we have the players for it.

I ken it was only a pre season friendly last night, but I saw a lot of the same issues that impacted us last season.

Read a lot about we looked better when we made changes, but we certainly looked better when Ipswich replaced their entire team.

I'm not overly concerned about last night.
The Ipswich boy that scored two, cost them £20 million. I am sure he is shyte and not worth it, but the gulf in class was very evident last night.

We look good attacking, but need better decision making.
The midfield and defence looked dodgy everytime Ipswich attacked.
It was exactly like that last season during our winless run and against far worse opposition than last night.

Hearts will give us a far better measure of how we are shaping up.

I'm not overly concerned about our squad, some additions would be good, but quality is always hard to find in our market, but getting players to make Jimmys system work in Scotland may prove costly.

For the record, my pants are perfectly dry.

Just so I know, which player are we targetting for over the top abuse this season?

I reckon Yengi might be a candidate, but have a feeling it will be Jack Milne.

Heard and read some right p1sh about the loon last night and today.

Yengi is definitely going to get abuse. He was getting torn to shreds last night on social media.

Not his fault but we have went from Miovski to Nisbet and now him, I expected us to make a statement and spend big on a striker.

Maybe we have tried and hopefully we still will before the end of August.

I thought Jack Milne was good last night but it wouldnt surprise me if he does get abuse being a local loon.

I think if we play better opposition we should go with the formation we played in the cup final because our defence and midfield seem to get exposed quite easily with the formation we used last night.
