    Mental if true.

Just goes to show our media like to push their favorites forward and usually always a cheek connection.

Can't see him getting another job in Scotland, but what flock do I know.

Blow up Sheep will make me eat my words as the Pars romp through the division and then to third place the following season. Or NL could be mentioned in the sack race thread before that

      • Lennon confirmed as manager of the Pars until end of season.

        A strange decision.

Wonder how long my mate will last at East End Park.
Strange decision that one right enough.
But maybe he is just using it to keep his hand in until the pittodrie job opens up for him again 😉

          • In today’ Scotsman letters page:

“I would like to thank John V Lloyd for his letter in which he said Neil Lennon “took Hibs, languishing in the Championship, into the Premiership, Europe and left them one of the biggest clubs in Scotland” (Scotsman, 24 March).
In these dark and troubling times, we all could do with a jolly good laugh.
            Mark Boyle Johnstone, Renfrewshire”

            Meeee-owwww.

              Followed by Victor Wanyama
Don’t think he’s played this calendar year but should still be head and shoulders above everyone in that league. Some signing for them.

Showbiz time for Pars fans under their Las Vegas owners. You do wonder where their gambling will end though?

A lot of clubs owned by Americans, usually end up f*cked financially. Usually starts off with promises and then they get bored and move onto something else, leaving a trail of debts and devistation behind.
It's usually like that with American involvement in most businesses throughout the world.

I like Dunfermline and hope they can sort themselves out get back into the top league.
That said, I hate baked bean teeth and can see them needing another manager by the end of the season.

I see his first game in charge is away to Ayr, who of course are managed by Scott Brown, who won't be doing him any favours.

Aye similarly conflicted. Don’t mind Dunfermline but no fan of Lennon.

I just don’t understand the influx of American investment in Scotland. Are there tax benefits or something?
This lot also own a Spanish and Bulgarian club so maybe see it as feeder to give their players game time.

Can’t see how there’s money to be made in Scotland at all outwith the larger fan bases of the bigot brothers.

I can only see American money coming into our game with the intent on changing things.
It was allegedly the Glazers of Man U that were/are the main drivers of the European Super League proposals.
The Americans are also pushing, in the EPL st least, for taking games out of England and into far flung corners of the world to exploit fanbases.
They also don't want relegation and certainly don't understand 'legacy' fans and trying their utmost to be rid of them.

I'd imagine Scotland offers a relatively cheap entry level for some investors, in a country whose game possibly suffers from a lack of investment. Out with the @rse cheeks dominance, I like our game pretty much the way it is and have a huge mistrust of people with money, especially Americans with agenda's.

I think clubs like Dunfermline will be an interesting watch over the next few years.

Davie colgate teeth Cormack, despite his physical place of birth and his citizen ship can certainly be classed as an "American with an agenda"
As for ma mate Neily boy and Dunfermline I actually think he will be like a breath of fresh air at East End Park and do a decent job for them.
Watched his welcome / first presser as pars manager and he comes across in that very well disciplined and almost sounds like a changed man.
Next coupe of months for him and The Pars will be interesting

                      • When we adopted a damaging budgetary policy and remained solvent, Dunfermline offered Darren Young a better deal to sign than our self-imposed limits allowed, and the ultimate price of Parsian profligacy was administration, the ucking gypes.

When we appointed Calderwood as manager, their fans apparently sent hunners of postcards from Rekjavik or Keflavik to him at Pittodrie since they were playing in Europe and we were not. They went out on aggregate and I laughed like intercourse.

I think I still have a Word file from 1995 named Cuparsnt which is an anagram of their nickname and how I felt about his whining girning greeting moaning and gracelessness about the arrangements and execution of both legs of the playoffs.

They are back where they deserve to be given the nutcase decisions they have made in recent seasons.

Neil Lennon?s first signing for Dunfermline isn?t too bad. Dunfermline are a real mess at the moment. It will be into see how he does there.

                          • I see popcorn teeth got off to a bad start against Ayr yesterday.

'Star signing' Victor Wanyama, got red carded in the second half after making a c*nt of himself.

Connon McLennan scored the opener for Ayr.

I've stated before that I have a soft spot for the Pars, but it would be VERY funny if he relegated them.

                            • Could we see McInnes join this thread yet? Online majority at least want him gone. I think the farmers abjectness might just save him, for this season at least.

Oft repeated failings are eyebleeding fitba, sticking to favourites out of form, not playing youth and an inability to sign/play with fullbacks and instead converting them all to midfielders. Must confess made me chuckle in recognition.

I think it only ends one way but it’ll be in the summer.

                              • The Anchor Man and his former assistant are struggling in the poor Scottish Premiership.
Both could quite easily be looking for new employment at the end of the season.
Tony Docherty has a go though and unfortunately for him he can?t keep the opposition from scoring less than his lot can score but The Anchor Man has horrendous tactics that have been well and truly found out.

Would I want them both sacked?.obviously not. It makes our life easier.
