Can't see it. I think the Championship is out of his reach. The Hun connection was the Sunderland link. He needs to be exceptional at AFC to get the 2nd tier in England. He may regret not moving on.

Watford sack their manager after only months in the job. They are currently in 10th place as well.

Their last 12 managers (including Dyche and Rodgers) haven't lasted a full year.


I remember in my sticker album days being utterly bored when I got stickers for either Watford or QPR.

I remember at the time someone on the radio said he should just go and show no loyalty because he'll get the sack anyway.
