Annfield was a pretty non descript ground other than the infamous AstroTurf. Forthbank must be one of the first retail park grounds. Absolutely souless place. Not as bad as the Falkirk Stadium though. Brockville was a great ground. Reminded me of a smaller version of Tynecastle. Dangerous place for an away fan.

One of the best atmospheres ive ever been in was the last game of the season in 94/94 at Brockville. Kingsford springs to mindOriginally posted by Mason89 View PostFair enough the atmosphere is absolutely shyte, the ground isn’t in the town & miles away from pubs but it’s a better matchday experience & they’re clearly ‘moving forward’ as a club
I’d be amazed if any Falkirk fan misses Brockville at all...

Sorry couldn't resist.Originally posted by Mason89 View PostIt’s not fishing & it’s not biting. It’s replying to a message on a message board. That’s how they work. I’m not an expert on anything related to Scottish football (please put this in bold when you reply, it’ll be very very very funny) I can only draw on my own experience. In my experience, Falkirk as an away day is sh1t, whereas it used to be great. Their new ground by any measure you care to take, has had no impact on their place within the game & the few Falkirk fans I know, don’t like the place either.
It’s a perfectly valid example to use when talking about our proposed sh1tbox

Hillfoots hillbilly are you nae ?Originally posted by Aldo1983 View PostI know a few falkirks fan (I'm from out that way but thankfully not Falkirk itself) and they hate it. So do Stirling Albion fans hate their ground compared to the old one.
You shouldn't see it as a dig, just something to consider. It'll help you work out what's objective and what's subjective.

wiggie will want to sell the club once the new stadiums built, the worry is the state it will be in by then as we heading in the wrong direction.
DM has done well over the last few years but its time for change ; The manager I would like was in the other dugout yesterday

The new stadium is already like a huge noose around our neck and we havent even started it.
McInnes will ensure that we will be the first club in history (sure someone will prove me wrong quickly, but you know what i mean) to build a new SMALLER stadium than we currently have, as nobody will be turning up....

I'll prove you wrong, Juventus's new stadium is about 26,000 seats smaller than their old one.Originally posted by awafaehame View PostTotally agree.

Knew someone would pretty quickly.Originally posted by Jupiter View PostI'll prove you wrong, Juventus's new stadium is about 26,000 seats smaller than their old one.
Might be different moving from a 75k stadium to a 50k one, or whatever it is.
I genuinely think (and hope a lot) that if McInnes doesnt vastly improve this year, he will either leave or be forced out by the end of the season.
