I imagine it will be one out of Big Sam or the other members of the triumvirate of mediocrity (Pardew and Mark Hughes) who get the nod.
It won’t be Derek McInnes who gets offered the job.

I'd imagine htafc1908mad will probably have poo pooed any suggestion. Claiming McInnes hasn't been tested at that level.

      • Man U would be daft to give the job to OGS permanently. They wouldn't even have considered him if he hadn't played for them. When a club hire an ex-player as manager, you should always ask yourself if they would have hired him if he hadn't played for them. If the answer is no, like with OGS, then it is a mistake.

He has Derek lined up for Bayern once they get rid of Kovac

They're definitely going down. Think they might try someone a bit left field.....obviously not McInnes but wouldn't surprise me to hear Lennon getting a mention

            • He wasn't really sacked, but more Wagner chucked the towel in. He asked to be relieved of his duties because it had become too hard for him to achieve a positive result. 3 years riding high was fine, but when it became challenging he has quit. That should be him **** canned for another high profile role. They might struggle for a boss here. Even Big Sam will say nah to the 6 month 5M pension top up.

Why neil lennon? He failed miserably at bolton (as did mcinnes at bristol city) and so far mcinnes has his card so far up here in scotland so cannae see lennon being a target? Apart from tims when he had money to spend he's done f@ck all

He's a bigger name in England than DM. And he can set up his side not only just to beat Celtic....but do it in some style too.

Yes DM gets results against Hibs. But in both Easter Road games this season they battered us tbh......combination of bad luck and bad finishing stopped them from winning both. His budget is something like 60% of ours so we ought to finish above them. His job is to finish above Hearts.

                  • Martin Canning away at Hamilton. Surprised he lasted as long as he did when he's got a plastic pitch in his favour.

                    • Next up must be Gary Caldwell at Partick

                          They'll go down now.

                          I was thinking about Hamilton.
Their lot, of late, has been just being bad.
Really bad, and also selling any decent players on.

But every so often they'll have a run of games where they'll pick up a few points, then garbage again for ages.

The decent runs of results ends up being enough to keep them up.

They must be soul destroying to watch.

Anyway, I got thinking, surely their fans would prefer being in the second tier?

Competitive games, maybe pushing for the league or playoffs, chance to win the lower league cup.

                          Mebbe nae.

LOL, the plastic pitch may indeed have contributed to Hamilton's length of time in the top league

Possibly, but the boy Tony Andeu may be enough to keep them up.

I imagine it will be the calibre of the dross around them that might keep them up.
