McInnes became a bit too unhinged in the end.

He clearly read too much in to what 'social media' thought about him and his team and eventually he either didn't think there was a problem at AFC, results wise or he had no idea how to fix it. Both good reasons for getting rid.

McInnes did a good job for 3 or 4 seasons but it all went stale in the end.

I think he’ll be a good fit for Kilmarnock , if he can get them straight back up. He obviously fancies his chances and if he does that and does well back in the premiership he’ll be hoping that might raise his stock a bit as it obviously took a bit of a hammering when he got sacked from us.

Everybody broke all sort of ducks and burst their cherries against us in those dark weeks. I think Perth are beyond that now, and if they fail to beat TMSTID in midweek, we’ll do them as they’re totally bereft of any sort of spirit. Then Steve Brown has to balance gratitude/loyalty for Perth’s success last season with giving some bull-necked psycho the manager’s tracksuit to kick themselves out of the ordure.

I think the combine harvesters are circling, and corn dollies are being prodded with pins in Swinney the Useless’s manor.

Seems a bit strange from a timing perspective given they are just off the back of a win at Tynecastle and a comfortable cup win at Peterhead.

Maybe they are moving quickly to appoint Dundonian Stephen Glass before he is snapped up by someone else!!

It’s an odd one, but not the oddest thing on that street.

Looks like they’d decided to pull the trigger, probably with an agreement to bring in a replacement, and the unexpected league win has muddied the waters.

He seems a decent enough individual, but the managerial abilities of anyone who’s been gaffer at Dens Park are hard to gauge given the way in which that club staggers from crises to calamities to administrations.
