I see it as progressing as three of those four years, we reached a round further than seeded to.Originally posted by Aldo1983 View PostOur fans think getting knocked out in the same round of Europe is progress to be fair
The "once michty"
This has in no uncertain terms helped our co-efficient, which would in turn give us the potential to progress further by better seeding placement.
We need stability and repeated relative success which should in time make it easier to get to the Preliminqry round and then into the groups.

Got a bad feeling about Stevie G.
Lets face it. Jimmy Nichol, who I would imagine will be retained, will 1st team coach and Garry McAllister will do all the tactics. Gerrard will be a Souness style figurehead, there to attract new players but hardly involved at all mon-fri and probably not even in the dugout.
Hope I'm wrong.
In terms of beating Celtic, won't happen, but I'm thinking more about overhauling AFC as Scotland's 2nd force.
Up to Mlne to front up to this new challenge

You are wrong, he's too stupid to be a manager, and he won't attract any good players because sevco are skint.Originally posted by Feck_the_Huns View PostGot a bad feeling about Stevie G.

Some references to similarity with Souness (Liverpool, 1st managerial role).Originally posted by Jupiter View PostYou are wrong, he's too stupid to be a manager, and he won't attract any good players because sevco are skint.
Thing is, Souness had an additional advantage in being able to attract English Internationalists with teams in England banned from Europe following Heysel.
I can’t see Stevie G able to lustre the same calibre to SevCo

So much p1sh spouted here. How do you propose we weaken the Govan team further and have a real go at Celtic? On what grounds can we do that.Originally posted by EintrachtFrankfurt View PostNo Milne has no ambition and we will never do anything with him at the helm, you could have Guardiola as manager and it wouldnt make any difference. 3rd is about as good as it gets in Milnes eyes now that Sevco are here, a real Dons man as chairman would be aiming to weaken Sevco further and have a real go at the Tims.
So many negative bitter people on this site.

How about our manager sets up the team to be aggressive from minute 1 to minute 93 against them & press them.
As opposed to the limp-twisted, feeble attempts he has served up this season.
Just a thought.

No point trying to explain it to him, he's lost to his own lack of ambitions and negativity.Originally posted by RedStarTorphins View PostHere’s a thought...

Hun season ticket holder I work with said they were all ****ting themselves earlier in the season then immediatley realised they would win when we stood off them. That's why they didn't want McInnes. We should have been winning every game against them since they came back up. They've been an absolute shambles.
