Rangers sounded out McInnes prior to Warburton and was told no.Originally posted by Pacman1903 View PostI actually think it was
4-Sevco dont and never have wanted him
If they wanted him they wouldnt have employed the manager of the 4th best team in Qatar or wherever the **** Pedro came from

Your not going to get any official source, but rest assured, a lunch was had and he was sounded out about taking over before Warburton.Originally posted by Pacman1903 View PostSource?
You may recall it coincided in 2015 with McInnes getting an extended contract to 2019
That doesn't make sense.Originally posted by Mason89 View PostDoubt it.
I do think they had an agreement of sorts in place when Warburton was still in the job though.
If there was an agreement in place when Warburton was still in the job, then he would have been there ahead of Pedro

That’s what I think is the interesting bit. I don’t think anyone was more surprised than McInnes that Pedro got the job.Originally posted by afc1903mad View PostThat doesn't make sense.

The Huns were itching to sack Warburton but he had a wee run of scoring late goals. Sometime during this delay, they changed their mind or backtracked from McInnes

Read a bit on the BBC website about Peter Grant bumming up Alan Pardew, saying he was great with players like Tevez and Mascherano. Thon first season Tevez was at West Ham, he didnae score until February and Mascherano hardly played. Was sure Pardew got the dunt half through that season. Some ex-players and coaches talk utter mince in the Weejia
But hey, if it means Deek isn’t on the menu, great. I fear another ploy by the (unts might be to play this out until the international breakLast edited by xtrmntr75; 01-11-2017, 08:45 PM.

If he said that it's completely bizarre. Pardew not only had Tevez sitting on the bench behind Marlon Harewood, he also fell out with him, got fired half way through the season and it was only after he was sacked that Curbishley came in and started picking Tevez on a regular basis, who unsurprisingly started getting them results. Mascherano barely played and was sold to Liverpool in January that season.Originally posted by xtrmntr75 View PostRead a bit on the BBC website about Peter Grant bumming up Alan Pardew, saying he was great with players like Tevez and Mascherano. Was there not some issue with regards to the contracts being held third party and obligations if they played more?Originally posted by sancho_panza View PostIf he said that it's completely bizarre.
