I have not paid much attention at all to their new managerial appointment. As for board appointments we can not really have a go at another team who are sitting above us in the table without looking at our own board appointments.
Still no replacement for Steven Gunn (who was certainly not what I would call fit for purpose) and we still have the Motherwell DJ second in command at our club. These two guys were ridiculous appointments in a football sense.
Our chairman must have a long hard look at his own choice of key positions at our club. We are in desperate need for real football people and not boy scouts. It might also put a bit pressure on our esteemed manager. He gets to do as he pleases

By the second page there are various references to jack boots, 10 German bombers and invading Poland.

Statement FC at it again

THE handling of key incidents during Sunday’s semi-final has again raised legitimate concerns about the consistency of refereeing in Scottish football.

Club representatives met with the Scottish FA this evening to seek explanations for major decisions in the match, including the incident involving Jack Butland and Auston Trusty.

Following that meeting, we remain unsatisfied with the explanation of the referee’s decision in that incident, the application of the Laws of the Game, and the VAR review itself, which we do not believe was sufficiently robust or thorough.

We recognise that refereeing decisions can impact both sides in a game, but too many important matches continue to be influenced by calls that are inconsistent and difficult to justify. These decisions have real consequences, determining results, impacting fans, and affecting the livelihoods of players, coaches and staff whose work is judged by outcomes on the pitch.

The club has consistently raised issues as they have occurred with the Scottish FA, but we do not feel there has been enough change in how refereeing is being developed at the highest level.

We understand and share the anger among our supporters, who have grown frustrated at the repeated inconsistencies in major match decisions that continue to affect the club.

For the benefit of our supporters and the wider game in the country, we will continue to hold the Scottish FA to account and expect them to lead meaningful progress that delivers lasting improvement.

Legitimate concerns and real consequences as opposed to illegitimate and imaginary ones. Serious stuff.

I feel much better knowing that Rangers are holding the Scottish FA to account on behalf of the wider game.

Yes we all say the same but the irony of them moaning about refereeing decisions; my eyes can’t roll hard enough.

Scottish FA counter statement:

Was Butland badly hurt? No.

Unlike victims of the (admittedly, old) Rangers.

Joshua Wilkinson - died from peritonitis caused by a hard challenge.

John Thomson - died after getting kicked in the head.

Throw in Theo Snelders' and Jim Leighton's facial injuries and you see what a bunch of hypocrites they are.

I see the huns are headed for another "nine-in-a-row".

But it's European defeats rather than league titles. They've lost seven straight European games, yet it'll probably be our fault that the nation's UEFA club coefficient is tanking.
